A Swedish study published in the International Journal of Stress Management found that floating in water triggers the body’s relaxation response, which helps suppress stress hormone levels. The research proves that swimming reduces the tension and stress experienced by children ages 11 to 13 years.

If there is no time to go to the swimming pool, soak in a bathtub, accompanied by aromatherapy candles and soft music. You can also soak feet in warm water spiked with spice oil or aromatherapy.

They are better able to cope with stress, recover faster from illness, and they experience increased health benefits and their personal well-being. ”

Why is that? Worship gives time for yourself to connect with God. Yes, it provides calmness, alleviates anxiety, and makes you more grateful. During all these processes, you build positive energy that can get rid of stress and negative thoughts that do damage the mood.

In addition, being a religious person according to research makes a person’s life longer. Most religions regulate their people to carry out orders and stay away from prohibitions, for example not drinking or reducing alcohol and always thinking positively. These two things are closely related to managing stress.

  6. Hello!

What a great list and at just the right time!  Thank you for reminding me to take a pause and remember the blessings God has given us. In spite of the chaos around us we have much to be thankful for… if you (we) are safe and our kids (and grandkids) are safe… give thanks and just see how we might help others. That always works for me.
